Biography

Bhupen Srivastava

Professor Bhupen Srivastava has been involved in teaching, research and consultancy activities in India, U.S.A, Canada, Europe and Africa for over five decades. His assignments include Dean, Institute of Integrated Learning in Management (IILM) New Delhi; Director, FORE School of Management, New
Delhi; Professor, Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Calcutta, IMI, New Delhi; University of Northern Iowa, U.S.A. He has also been Specialist and Head, HRD, Power Projects and Services Division, BHEL; Dy. Director, Public Enterprises of Continuing Education; Senior Fellow, National Labour Institute, New Delhi.
He was a Commonwealth Advisor and Principal Consultant Government of Tanzania and Eastern and Southern African Management Institute (ESAMI) Arusha, Tanzania, Visiting Professor/Fellow, International Centre for Public Enterprises, Ljubljana, Slovenia, McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and
UNDP/ILO Fellow in Holland and United Kingdom. He has been involved in institution building activities and has participated in setting up academic institutes like National Labour Institute, Institute for Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi, Asia Pacific Institute of Management New Delhi, New Delhi Institute of Management and also HRD department in Power Projects and Services division of BHEL. He has played leading role in providing thrust to OD movement in India, work redesign and quality of working life experiments and developing participatory culture in a wide variety of organizations.
