Shriya Maini
Ms. Shriya Maini is an Advocate – on - Record (AOR) at the Supreme Court of India who balances a thriving litigation practice with academic leadership. She operates her independent AOR practice under her father Rajive Maini's chamber practice, managing high-stakes briefs, drafting, and cross-border commercial and criminal disputes. Ms. Maini regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, and various Central Tribunals. She also serves as a Professor of Practice at Lloyd Law College, Noida.
An alumnus of the University of Oxford, she holds a Bachelor of Civil Law focused on International Crime and Commercial Remedies, backed by the prestigious Dr. Mrs. Ambruti Salve Scholarship 2014 - 15 and the Oxford Global Justice Award 2015 - 16. Notably, she was the first Indian lawyer selected to intern at the UN International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals at The Hague under Judge Theodor Meron. She also graduated at the top of her class with multiple gold medals from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), including the Best Student Award 2013.
Ms. Maini specializes in International cross-border dispute resolution, International Criminal Law, Public International Law, commercial litigation, and white collar crimes. She has authored several research papers, articles, and commentaries on topics including transnational armed conflicts, arbitration laws and various aspects of international business and commercial laws. She is also empanelled as a panel lawyer with the Supreme Court Legal Services Committee and teaches several courses on Supreme Court Practice and Procedure and International Business Laws This volume reflects her extensive courtroom experience and deep academic commitment to the evolving landscape of International Business Law.
